“ Sherman Oaks location... We've tried so many restaurants and pizza parlors and Mulberry still stands out as our fav. The crust is thin and the bottom crisp. When folded in half, the slice flops slightly at the end. Sauce does not overwhelm the stringy cheese. Delivers usually within 30 mins. Love the white pizza with spinach and the plain cheese pizza. Always worth it. ”
“ Heard of this restaurant long time ago when I was on a celebrity bus tour and the driver mentioned it as we made a stop in Beverly Hills. It was in December and it was very cold! Yes, LA does get pretty cold... Strong wind in the upper 40s is no joke for an open roof bus. Anyway.. I got off the bus and went to get the pizza in a warm shelter. I didn't see Al Pacino there but I enjoyed the pizza very much. It's an old-school style Italian that makes NY style pizza and does it very well. They do slices. The place is small and cozy. Signed and unsigned photographs of Italian actors and mobsters who made it, proudly hang on the wall. ”
“ My absolute favorite pizza!!!! I'm from New York & Mulberry Street Pizza is as authentic & delicious as eating a slice in NY. I always keep it simple with just plain cheese pizza. The crust is perfect! All the Mulberry locations are great! I've tried other NY Style places in LA & Westwood and couldn't eat it. I would wind up taking a couple bites and throwing the rest away. Service is always great and friendly! Each location has plenty of seating and is typical of a NY pizzeria. If you want the real deal - it's Mulberry! ”
“ For the longest time, Mulberry Street pizzeria at any of their locations was my go-to spot when I wanted, no needed a slice of real New York City cheese pizza. I have a separate stomach, just for cheese slices, and often even after having a full dinner elsewhere will find myself having a New York City slice as dessert. (Daily exercise makes all this possible) So we came to this location of Mulberry Street pizzeria after a very fancy dinner nearby. It wasn't crowded within a minute. I'd ordered a slice of pizza and was sitting at the counter. A couple of minutes later the pizza was delivered to me on the signature paper plate and I happily ate it. Relative to other Mulberry Street slices I've had at other locations. This one was maybe a tick down... The cheese and sauce were right, but the crust, especially around the rim was not quite up to par - thinner than it should have been (on the rim) it still did the job as a pizza slice should, but in the increasingly competitive authentic New York City style pizza scene in Los Angeles, Mulberry, especially after this particular slice has some fierce competition that is a bit higher up the ladder for me. That having been said if they opened a location where I live in Santa Clarita I'm quite sure half of my child's college fund will go to it. So thank you, Mulberry Street, for the many years, so far, of deliciousness and New York City slice authenticity. ”
“ Cheesy and chewy thin crust pizza with delicious sauce. My husband was very happy. Stopped here just for him. They had a sell by the slice option which was perfect. They have 10 inch gluten free options as well that they bake on a tray for you. Not sure how safe for celiac it is, but we went for it with no regrets. They have a creamy frothy Bang orange drink that was so good. Definitely will be back when in the area. We enjoyed the service. Busy guys, but if you smile and are kind they give it right back. ”
“ Ordered delivery on Slice... I wasn't expecting gigantic pizza... considering the size the taste was to be expected as average to good... probably great for a large party... I just tend to prefer wood fired, smaller more gourmet style pizza. ”
“ I went to this Mulberry Street Pizzeria location recently. I dined in. I had a White Cheese & Spinach pizza slice and a Buffalo Chicken pizza slice. I thought the White Cheese & Spinach pizza slice was good. I didn't like the Buffalo Chicken pizza slice much as I thought it was a bit too spicey. Service could've been better as it took some time to place my order. ”
“ Authentic "fold 'em up as you eat 'em" New York style pizza. Heated up when you order, and make sure to enjoy while still hot, as they cool off quick. I always go for a classic Pepperoni, along with another slice of whatever looks good that day. ”
“ Best pizza. New York style. Thin crust. Crispy. Tasty sauce. Fresh ingredients. A slice is $5-$6. Portions are generous. Besides pizza, they also have salads and pasta. My picks are the house salad (pairs well with any pizza) and the rigatoni marinara (perfect in its simplicity due to the tasty and sweet marinara sauce). They sell whole pizzas as well as pizzas by the slice. Cheese pizza is always great. My favorite pizza is tomato artichoke. Another good pick, for the more sophisticated palettes, is the fresh spinach white pizza. However, you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose. Vegan and gluten free options available. This location is nice because they have a long counter where you can sit on barstools and watch your food being made. They also have red checkered (classic Italian) tables both inside and outside. This is a place you can come solo and be totally comfortable. It's also good for small groups and kid friendly as well. It's fun for people watching too. Last time I was in there a bride and groom from out of town dressed in full wedding attire and their families were eating a pizza pie in the back. The bride was taking pix with the pizza. So fun and cute. Mulberry Street has other locations. There's actually two locations in Beverly Hills. However, this one is the original. It's been in business over 20 years and is a mainstay for a reason. Service is friendly. The food is good! Takeout and delivery available as well. Metered parking on the street. ”
